BGA 69, Maplewood 3: Kaedyn Marable was 16-of-22 passing for 319 yards and seven touchdowns for the Wildcats (2-0). Fletcher Fields caught three passes for 106 yards and two touchdowns, and Arnette Hayes had five catches for 90 yards and a touchdown.
Blackman 42, Stewarts Creek 35: Jerry Taylor was 10-of-16 passing for 233 yards with two touchdowns and an interception in a loss for Stewarts Creek (1-1). Caleb Floyd had three catches for 140 yards and a touchdown, and Grady Harvey added 49 yards and a touchdown on two catches.
Brentwood Academy 16, Brentwood 6: George MacIntyre was 24-of-31 passing for 291 yards and Eli Ferguson had seven catches for 129 yards for Brentwood Academy (1-1). Canon Kinder was 20-of-34 passing for 218 yards and an interception and Clayton Merrill had eight catches for 91 yards for Brentwood (1-1).
Cannon County 19, Providence Christian 14: Tatum Marks was 9-of-28 passing for 148 yards with two touchdowns and an interception for Providence Christian (1-1). Joshua Meier had 23 carries for 87 yards and Aiden Bolden had four catches for 63 yards and a touchdown. Sean Birkofer led the defense with 11 tackles, including a sack.
Centennial 42, Summit 7: Riley Turner was 9-of-15 passing for 162 yards and three touchdowns to lead Centennial (1-1). Carolos Vigil had 15 carries for 61 yards and a touchdown and Gavin Johnson added 58 yards and a touchdown on two catches for the Cougars. Mason McElhaney was 6-of-12 passing for 46 yards for Summit (1-1).
Clarksville 10, Springfield 3: Jack Stein had three carries for 61 yards and a touchdown for Clarksville (2-0). Ahmoyre Galbreath added 40 yards on 12 carries for the Wildcats. Bryce Baldwin was 13-of-18 passing for 91 yards and Cameron Cobbins had five catches for 57 yards for Springfield (1-1).
Cookeville 48, Pure Academy 16: Blake Owen had 102 yards with three touchdowns on nine carries for Cookeville (2-0). Easton Davidson was 3-of-5 passing for 67 yards and a touchdown and Thomas Johnson had nine carries for 43 yards and a touchdown for the Cavaliers.
Davidson Academy 34, Lincoln County 27: Ksaun Barksdale was 10-of-18 passing for 133 yards with two touchdowns and Caden Stroud had 22 carries for 98 yards and three touchdowns for Davidson Academy (1-1). Wes Harper caught five passes for 71 yards with a touchdown and Joshua Bolden had one catch for 31 yards and a touchdown.
DCA 15, Friendship Christian 0: Mitchell Carey was 9-of-21 passing for 148 yards and a touchdown and had nine carries for 24 yards in a win for DCA (2-0). Grayson Scragg caught five passes for 126 yards and a touchdown and King Gardner had 13 carries for 92 yards and a touchdown. Brendan Boykin was 10-of-19 passing for 71 yards for Friendship Christian (1-1).
Eagleville 62, Community 6: Kaleb Snitzer had 92 yards and three touchdowns on five carries for Eagleville (1-1). Noah Lilly caught one pass for 23 yards and a touchdown and Marshall Spann returned a blocked punt for a touchdown for the Eagles.
Ensworth 35, MBA 14: Ensworth quarterback Taylor Hasselbeck finished 13-of-14 passing for 87 yards and a touchdown as the Tigers avenged last year's TSSAA playoff quarterfinal loss to MBA. Ensworth running backs Jaden Pyant, Micah Smith and EJ Gibson combined for 145 yards and three touchdowns. Bishop Starling added a 55-yard interception return for a TD for Ensworth (2-0). The Tigers forced MBA (1-1) into three turnovers.
Father Ryan 27, Pope John Paul II 21: Joseph Derrick was 9-of-16 passing for 226 yards and three touchdowns and Mason Bryant had five catches for 177 yards and three touchdowns for Father Ryan (2-0). Sam Derrick had seven carries for 66 yards for the Irish.
FRA 27, Franklin 7: Roman Mahlerwein was 14-of-21 passing for 146 yards with a touchdown and an interception in a win for FRA (2-0). Mike Hassell ran for 121 yards and three touchdowns on 16 carries and caught four passes for 53 yards and a touchdown for the Panthers (0-2), and Brewer Wilson was 6-of-13 passing for 91 yards and a touchdown.
Hendersonville 42, Northeast 13: Caleb Sams was 8-of-9 passing for 131 yards with two touchdowns to lead Hendersonville (2-0). Cooper Jordan had 12 carries for 116 yards and a touchdown and Riley Jordan caught three passes for 91 yards and two touchdowns for the Commandoes.
Kirkwood 35, Montgomery Central 7: Kirkwood sophom*ore quarterback Miles Reding was 14-of-19 for 296 yards passing and five touchdowns for the Cobras. Lee Buggs had five catches for 139 yards and a TD as Kirkwood rolled to the win.
Knoxville Grace 40, York 20: Logan Pannell had 15 carries for 98 yards and three touchdowns in a loss for York (1-1). Kole Brannon had seven carries for 51 yards and Blake Voiles added 34 yards on nine carries.
Lawrence County 28, Loretto 21: Ian Clayton had 22 carries for 165 yards and Hayden Pettigrew added 120 yards and three touchdowns on 17 carries to lead Lawrence County (1-1). Mason Tidwell was 10-of-16 passing for 125 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions and Corben Reynolds had four catches for 81 yards and two touchdowns and 11 carries for 68 yards and a touchdown for Loretto (1-1).
Macon County 42, Trousdale County 0: Gabe Borders had 89 yards and two touchdowns on three carries to lead Macon County (2-0). Braxton Boles had two rushes for 27 yards and Luke Gammon was 1-of-2 passing for 25 yards for the Tigers. Charlie Sanders had seven carries for 11 yards for Trousdale County (0-2).
Marshall County 47, Shelbyville 35: Tyler Thompson was 14-of-21 passing for 314 yards and five touchdowns and ran for another touchdown to lead Marshall County (2-0). Aja Jones had four catches for 168 yards and two touchdowns for the Tigers. Robert Bailey had 240 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries and Stephen Bobo had nine carries for 103 yards and a touchdown and was 9-of-15 passing for 67 yards with a touchdown and an interception for Shelbyville (1-1).
Monterey 34, Rockwood 18: Kole Bowman had 20 carries for 144 yards and two touchdowns for Monterey (2-0). Collin Fowler added 135 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries and Logan Montgomery had seven carries for 71 yards and a touchdown for the Wildcats.
Mt. Juliet Christian 62, Lookout Valley 0: Hezekiah Amick had four total touchdowns, including a 72-yard kickoff return and a 56-yard punt return to lead Mt. Juliet Christian (2-0). Romel Anderson had three carries for 74 yards and two touchdowns and Andy Griffith caught one pass for 68 yards and a touchdown for the Saints.
Overton 29, Hillsboro 13: Trey Hodges was 13-of-25 passing for 127 yards with a touchdown and an interception in a loss for Hillsboro (1-1). Michael Bennett caught four passes for 50 yards and a touchdown and Dominic Hamer rushed 11 times for 43 yards.
Page 31, Independence 0: Mitchell Grandjean was 5-of-9 passing for 69 yards and had four carries for 51 yards and a touchdown to lead Page (2-0). Isaac Otey had 44 yards on six carries and William Wiebush had five carries for 41 yards and two touchdowns for the Patriots.
Portland 55, Greenbrier 8: Keilen Dalton had 117 yards and a touchdown on six carries and caught a 15-yard pass for a touchdown to lead Portland (2-0). Jintre House ran for a touchdown and returned a fumble for another and Ben Bradley returned an interception 40 yards for a touchdown for the Panthers.
Ravenwood 48, Cane Ridge 0: Caden Pace had two carries for 89 yards and Will Harry added 61 yards on 12 carries for Ravenwood (2-0). Femi Babalola was 4-of-5 passing for 58 yards and Jayden Smitherman had a blocked punt and returned an interception for a score for the Raptors.
Rockvale 31, Smyrna 14: Adin Augustine had 13 carries for 114 yards and a touchdown in a loss for Smyrna (0-2). Britten Judkins was 8-of-18 passing for 47 yards and an interception and Tyreque McCarver had four catches for 31 yards and three tackles and an interception for the defense.
Siegel 28, La Vergne 22: Braelyn Albea had 124 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries for Siegel (1-1). Corey Jennifer had 10 carries for 104 yards and a touchdown and Tristan Thorton was 5-of-7 passing for 27 yards for the Stars.
Summertown 7, Wayne County 0: Drew Bevis was 4-of-7 passing for 53 yards with an interception and had 14 carries for 39 yards in a loss for Wayne County (0-2). Will Robertson caught two passes for 41 yards and Case Butler had nine carries for 35 yards.
Upperman 41, Lebanon 14: Bronzden Chaffin was 10-of-12 passing for 184 yards with three touchdowns and had 19 carries for 146 yards and two touchdowns for Upperman (2-0). Ethan Palk had 20 carries for 95 yards and a touchdown and Branson Turnbow caught one pass for 84 yards and a touchdown for the Bees.
Webb 57, Columbia Academy 42: James Pierre had 28 carries for 209 yards and two touchdowns to lead Webb (2-0). Joel Wyatt added 80 yards on six catches and Jayden Frazier caught three passes for 38 yards and a touchdown. Montae Baldwin had 14 carries for 215 yards and a touchdown and Stephen Nieves was 14-of-24 passing for 202 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions for Columbia Academy (1-1).
